We invite you to go to our FREE BIBLE CORRESPONDENCE COURSE and participate on-line. Or take advantage of the PRACTICAL SHORT ON-LINE STUDY LESSONS
This site is designed for those who are not members of the Church of Christ and are therefore unfamiliar with what we teach on basic Bible Topics such as: "Why Believe the Bible?, The Beginning of the Church, What Must I Do To Be Saved?, and Creation vs Evolution." These topics are covered in a Free Bible Correspondence Course consisting of four Lessons. Each free Bible Lesson is followed with a series of Questions which are to be answered and returned by email to the Danville Road Church of Christ. We pray that through these Bible Studies and answering the Questions that those who are not Christians will see the need to render obedience to the Word of God as those men and women did nearly 2000 years ago when the Church first began on this earth. Be assured that you will not be asked to do anything that the Holy Word of God did not instruct them to do.
Introducing The CHURCH OF CHRIST! We are glad that you have taken time to check out our website. We would like to tell you something about the church. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent by the divine working of God to deliver the gospel to the world. Thus, we believe that the New Testament, which contains the gospel (or good news) is the means by which we can know God's will and provide us with the knowledge to come to a relationship with God that will enable us to spend eternity in heaven with all the redeemed when this life is over. We stand for the New Testament without any additions thereto nor subtractions therefro way of worship and service to God. In the light of so many changes in the religious world in general and among churches of Christ, we speak only for the congregation which meets and worships at Danville Road. What we believe, teach, and practice is determined by our study of the Bible, and that alone. Sometimes this conscientious view results in our being described as "narrow minded" because we do not accept anything that does not come within the authority of God's word. Yet, we continue to pursue this course since the purity of our faith depends upon our drawing a clear and distinct line between what the Bible teaches and what the opinions of men are. While we recoginize that there are times when matters of judgment must prevail (where God allows such) we believe the Bible is very clear on any subject that is related to salvation. Therefore we reject opinion as a justifiable grounds for forming our faith and practice. We hope that as you look over our web page, you will join with us in a careful study of the Bible as the only source for guidance in matters spiritual. This web page is presented solely as a means of helping us all come to a better understanding of God and His Word, the Bible.
